Overview

CONVERT ONE OF OUR ABANDONED BUILDINGS TO A LIVE THEATER.  As home to world renowned recording artist Bill Gaither, Alexandria has been offered a unique opportunity to reinvent ourselves.  Tens of thousands of visitors travel here annually to visit and tour the Gaither studio and yet we have never capitalized on this opportunity. A number of other successful artists have come from Alexandria but left to pursue their career.  In their success lies our greatest potential.  Joey Martin is also from Alexandria and would love to be able to come home to perform.  Woody Wright another world touring singer/song writer residing in Alexandria, sees this as an opportunity to bring fans to our community rather than him touring in the region. A live venue will also provide the catalyst for attracting numerous other businesses and investment dollars to our community, including; museums, a hotel, restaurants, shops, and more.
